Plot
Vibrant pop-art animation, an amazing soundtrack and a lively storyline have made Yellow Submarine one of the most beloved musical films of all time. In the film, the idyllic Pepperland comes under attack by the Blue Meanies, a music-despising bunch who strip the land of sound and colour. Luckily the Captain of the Yellow Submarine, Old Fred, finds his way to Liverpool to enlist John, Paul, George and Ringo to help bring music, joy and laughter back to Pepperland. The magical journey is filled with surrealistic humour, Liverpudlian wit—and The Beatles’ classic songs.
