Plot
Birsa Dasgupta's Comedy Bengali film 'Obhishopto Nighty' (Cursed) is a story set in 1985, and revolves around Monica (Paoli Dam), a bar singer who ends up being the victim of Raja's (Indraneil Sengupta) lust. The two fall in love, spend a weekend together and the relation ends in an abrupt break-up after that. The nightie worn by Monica changes hands in a logical manner, not magically. Her experience of an unfulfilled love, ultimately leads to a curse on it. Present-day Kolkata is nothing but the city of joy, until a seductive nighty finds its way to a homemaker. The exchange in authority over the nighty from a maid, a famous singer, a newly married couple, finally to a struggling actress, each one submits to the desire of wearing the nighty only to be aroused by sexual urge.
