Plot
When Private Bill Sherman (MacRae) comes home from World War I, his fiancée, Marjorie (Day), looks forward eagerly to their wedding. But Bill wants to delay the marriage until he finds a job and the financial security to start a family. Just as Bill is ready to set a date for the wedding, Marjorie finds a note from an alluring French actress in her father's pocket, which sets off an expanding whirlwind of doubt in her father's--and her fiancé's--fidelity ... doubts that are all romantically resolved By the Light of the Silvery Moon.
