Plot

Aagadu is a Telugu action, comedy film, a second directorial venture of Srinu Vaitla starring Mahesh Babu from their earlier blockbuster ‘Dookudu’. Shankar (Mahesh Babu) is an orphan boy, he finds shelter in the house of Raja (Rajendra Prasad). Shankar is sent to jail for committing a crime when he was a kid. Years later Shankar becomes a CI who is referred to as 'Encounter Shankar’ because of his track record. He is posted to Bukkapatnam and is assigned the task of ending the illegal businesses of a dreaded local don Damodar (Sonu Sood) whose dream project is to build a power plant. Shankar brings a stay on the power project by bringing few vital witnesses. On a parallel note, Shankar loves a sweet shop owner named Saroja (Tamannaah) who reciprocates his love at a later point of time. How Shankar finally puts an end to Damodar and his gang with the help of Delhi Suri (Brahmanandam) is the crux of the story.
