Plot
“Oggarane” is a Kannada remake of Aashiq Abu's Malayalam film “Salt N' Pepper”. Kalidasa (Prakash Raj) works in the State Archaeological Department and is a passionate food lover. He leads a simple life living with his assistant (Thambi Ramaiah). Naveen (Tejus) is Kalidasa's nephew who comes over to his place in search of a job. While Kalidasa is busy leading a normal life he gets a misdialed phone call from Gowri (Sneha), a dubbing artiste living with her friend Meghna (Samyuktha). Their conversations do not go well at first, but a long-distance romance develops due to their common interest, which is cooking and food. They are jittery to meet in person, as they are conscious of their own physical appearances, and unknowingly decide to send Naveen and Meghna. The duo falls in love with each other and this brings us to the twist in the story. Will Kalidasa and Gowri reveal their identity? The film features the original score and soundtrack by Ilaiyaraja.
